Frequently asked questions

How does Resona work?

You record about 10 seconds of speech. Resona analyzes the acoustics of your voice โ€” pitch, stability, tone, clarity, pace โ€” right on your device, and turns it into a single 0โ€“100 score with four sub-scores. Tap any sub-score to see the real measurements behind it (your pitch in Hz, jitter %, words per minute, and more).

Does my voice get uploaded?

No. All analysis happens on your phone. Your recordings never leave your device. (If you use the optional AI feedback, only the resulting numbers are sent โ€” never the audio.) See our Privacy Policy.

Do I need an account?

No. Resona has no sign-up and no login. Ever.

Why did I get a score that feels too high or too low?

Resona shows you exactly how every number was measured โ€” tap into a sub-score to see the raw values. A few things can skew a reading:

I want to delete my data.

Your scores are stored only on your device, so deleting the Resona app deletes them.
